Carthy Accountants have been excellent to work with. They are knowledgeable, reliable and genuinely supportive and it is reassuring to know that they have my back.
What really stands out is that they do much more than simply complete the paperwork. They offer thoughtful suggestions, identify opportunities I hadn't and have helped me save money in ways I would not have known were possible.

I have been a client of Carthys Accountants for many years. They are honest, have the highest professional integrity but most of all understand your business.
I have recently sold my business. Pre deal completion, Michael Carthys advice was excellent. Access to Carthys wider professional network such as Nowell Meller Solicitors was equally timely and also most welcomed.
The post completion phase would have been a real challenge had it not been for Edith Woodward. A consummate Accounting professional who has personally helped me to navigate a relatively smooth progression to new ownership.
For sure, I will retain a strong future client relationship with all at Carthys, and I would say, that if you are considering a sale or an exit of your business at some point, then the sooner that you speak to them the better.

The staff here are so down to earth, friendly and approachable. I've seen Lucy on two occasions, the first to answer my queries on whether it'd be advisable to top up my National Insurance Contributions prior to getting my State Pension, which enabled me to make an informed decision, and more recently,with checking on my Income Tax code and deductions.
She cut through the Inland Revenue's gobbledegook, on my letter from them, and deciphered whether the information was correct or not. I was not charged a fee as it was an initial consultation, and was more than happy with the service here. They even offer you a drink! Would highly recommend this company.
